1. Agreement
By creating an account, connecting a calendar, or otherwise using Hagora, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Hagora on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The service
Hagora provides tools for personal scheduling, task management, calendar overlays, availability sharing, shared tasks, groups, goals, and lists. Features may change during development, and some features may be identified as beta or experimental.
Hagora is a planning tool, not an emergency, medical, financial, or safety-critical service. You remain responsible for confirming important dates, times, invitations, reminders, and calendar changes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly at support@hagora.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not impersonate another person, reserve identifiers in bad faith, or transfer an account without permission.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of tasks, notes, lists, event information, and other content you submit. You grant Hagora a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
You must have the right to submit and share your content. You are responsible for what you disclose to friends and group members through Hagora.
5. Apple and Google calendar services
Calendar connections are optional. When you connect a calendar, you authorize Hagora to access and process calendar data as described in the Privacy Policy and in the permission screen shown by Apple or Google.
If you ask Hagora to create, edit, or delete a Google Calendar event, Hagora will send that instruction to Google on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing the event and selecting the correct calendar. Google Calendar and Apple services are provided by their respective companies and are subject to their own terms and availability. Hagora is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Apple.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Hagora for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, threatening, or abusive activity;
- harass others, send spam, or share content that violates another person's rights;
- attempt to access another account or data without authorization;
- interfere with security, availability, synchronization, or technical limits;
- reverse engineer or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use automated means to scrape or overload Hagora.
8. Hagora ownership
Hagora and its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by Hagora or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Hagora to you.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Hagora reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Calendar providers, internet connections, push notifications, maintenance, and beta changes may cause delays or temporary unavailability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hagora is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hagora will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or losses caused by third-party calendar services, network failure, or your sharing choices. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful in your country.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using Hagora, disconnect calendars, or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The updated version and effective date will be published here. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide appropriate notice before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts in Portugal will have jurisdiction where legally permitted. European consumers may also have rights to use available consumer-dispute mechanisms.
